Maybe (“we,” “us,” “our”) respects your privacy. This page explains, in plain language, what information we collect when you visit maybe.earth, and what we do with it.
The short version: We collect very little, we don’t sell anything, and we don’t track you across the internet. We’re a place to think, not a data business.
What we collect
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site — which summaries get read, how visitors arrive, how long they stay. This data is anonymized and aggregated. We use it to make Maybe better, not to identify you personally.
Cookies. A cookie is a small file your browser stores. We use them for basic site function and for the analytics described above. When you first visit, you’ll see a cookie notice where you can accept or manage your preferences. You’re in control.
Newsletter. If you subscribe to the Maybe Weekly Digest, we collect your email address — only to send you the digest. We never sell it, share it, or use it for anything else. You can unsubscribe at any time, and we’ll remove you promptly.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell your data. We don’t share it with advertisers. We don’t build personal profiles on you. We don’t track you across other websites.
Third-party links
Maybe links out to original sources — YouTube videos, podcasts, creator websites. Once you click away to those sites, their privacy practices apply, not ours. We encourage you to review their policies.
Your rights
You can ask us what data we hold about you, request that we delete it, or unsubscribe from any communication. Just email us and we’ll take care of it.
Changes to this policy
If we update how we handle data, we’ll update this page and change the date at the top. No silent changes — that’s not how Maybe works.
